Matriculation day yesterday.. Million thanks to anthea wong for accompanying me there.. Took the internal shuttle bus(the security guard told us to take).. the PRC gurl turn over to ask us if we're hear to "bao ming" (register in chinese).. then ya.. how to go LT28 if i'm not wrong.. of cos i dunno.. then later talk talk.. got lotsa confusion.. i dunno what she's there for n she dunno what i'm there for.. then she asked me what fac am i from... HENGZ THANKS to my dad.. i know social science is called "se4 hui4 xue2".. then she was like "MASTER OR PHD?" #($&#*&$#*(&$#(.. i didn't know how to say degree in mandarin.. so i said "degree" then she was like "???" nvm.. 3 CHinese having miscommunication.. how sad is that??? in the end we ended up taking the wrong bus.. checked out the map.. at least we managed to tell her which bus she should take.. duh.. Reached the MSPH.. only arts students can go in.. they wanna see the letter b4 they let u in.. so anthea couldn't get in!!!.. poor her had to stay outside n wait for me.. my matriculation card look quite shitty.. couldn't decide on which notebook to get.. fujitsu lifebook 7020 or 7021.. 7020 got $200 special upgrade to 1.83ghz + dvd rewritable + thumbprint technology.. but all these like i dun need leh.. went out to discuss with anthea.. called my sis too.. managed to smuggle her in.. told the security guard she is e guarantor for my notebook loan shit.. went over to the ibm side.. the guy was quite nice.. one of them walked pass n tried to drop e notebook on the table to show tt it's durable.. lol.. think they are more sincere then the fujitsu ppl.. but t43 is rather ugly... it's better than fujitsu in anyother way.. but it's really rather bulky n ugly.. decide on fujitsu 7021 in the end.. the ibm guy saw me holding on to the fujitsu receipt.. feel damn bad.. got lotsa freebies from the arts ppl.. the cca thingy was rather boring i guess.. anyway the entire matriculation day just made me feel that i can't fit into nus n i dun like tt...... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. but since i'm alr in nus.. whatever........
Went for a haircut with anthea after tt at Bugis Reds... think i was quite tired n seh after the matriculation nonsense.. started asking the hairstylist (doreen) bout highlighting hair n stuff liddat.. in the end.. i did it.. highlighted my hair.. but not very obvious kind like.. copper brown.. n guess what.. 15% off for NUS studentS!! ok.. joke of the day man.. think my hearing got prob.. while doreen was cutting my hair.. i heard her say "U're from.. US right?".. i thought "Huh... did i hear wrongly.." how the hell do i sound like an american or look like one? so i just like "haha.." then again later she was like u're from US right.. then i was like "NO, singapore" then she was like "??orh..Singapore".. after my haircut.. i think think... maybe she meant NUS...................... haiyooooooo................
Mum, sis n aunt were talking bout how scary driving test is just now.. Now i kinda freakout.. damn.. aunt was like saying 1st 2 times she shivered during her tests.. then my sis so traumatised by her first failure (she was quite confident.. the warmup instructor told her "sure pass".. #$&#*@$&#$).. alamakzzzzz.. I'm not hoping much for my test this coming fri.. aunt was like saying can borrow one of her cars after we pass.. can borrow her SAAB car man!!!!!! love tt car.. but she doubt i'll pass first time....... BOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo.. i doubt myself too.. tml i'll haf my last lesson b4 the real thing.. hafta prepare some $$.. if i fail still can go immediately top up n book some lessons n testdate.. ciaoz.
