Woo! Back from penang! The trip was ok (sorry, limited vocab). Not too good Not too bad. But penang really got nothing leh, besides the nice beach. You go see the pamplets they give abt penang. Like not much on the places to go but more on the events that are taking place there. Managed to get tau sar pia there. Heard is the No.1 tau sar pia in penang. Not a pro at tau sar pia though. But my mum told me it's not bad! good good! Thanks to bc we got them for free!
Regarding the race, we "thrashed it out" during debrief on wed. I guess the small boat i rowed in just lack of chemistry. We were like pulling by ourselves, individually. For the big boat, it felt better. In fact, the very last race we rowed. It was an emotional moment for me ba. Saw us neck-to-neck with SPC. Then, i saw them standing up. At that moment I was like "!!" n started pulling harder. Still i saw them pulling away from us. But i felt that i gave my best. I dunno why tears started filling up my eyes after we crossed the finishing line. Maybe it's a kind of helpless feeling yet you know you gave your best. Or is it that i felt it. The feeling cindy talked about during briefing. Yes, I'm staying in db, still hoping to feel what the seniors said they felt. What is that feeling? Hmm.. Losing by 9secs is like Woah. But kinda understandable why they win. They have something that we don't have. They seem much more bonded than we are. I missed one stroke during the first race. I got a shock. Thank goodness Geok asked me to stay calm n continue rowing.. or else... I really must thank the 2nd pair for helping to control the pace (geoks, raine, joanna, yuenching), manda for setting the good pace, mid n back pack for supporting, drummer and coxwain for ensuring that everything was in control.. sounds like some thank-u speech.. but that's really how i feel leh.. Lol.

The tuesday row was Grreat! I felt really Great returning to kallang that day. The spirit was Great too.! I just hope this spirit can last thru out, not just on tuesday. Really can feel everyone rowing together.!
Kevin n i did some stupid dare today at cartel. Think the waiter n waitress got shocked by us. The waiter was pouring water for me n i just went "HOOOooo!" (go youtube watch HardGay and you will know what i'm talking abt). Kevin went to the waitress after footing the bill n did the same. Then we ran out of the place. Damn paiseh but FunnY!! LOL!
Met Anthea n Jiting on Tuesday. REALLY GReat to catch up with them again. The auntie-cum-38 club.. WEeeeeeeeee.. I enjoy being an auntie with them. But they cultured auntie la.. watch all the french movies then i feel so out.. lol.! BUT GReat catching up with them man! :)
